How Goose scores Comfort

Comfort is heated everything, quiet cabins, and a screen that doesn't make you angry.

Comfort is heated everything, quiet cabins, and a screen that doesn't make you angry. I count the features the factory actually installed — ventilated seats, dual-zone climate, adaptive cruise, real audio — not the marketing tier names. A base work truck scores low here because it was built for a different job, and that's fine. Every truck has a purpose. This score tells you whether that purpose includes your commute.

Frequently asked

What features move the comfort score most?
Heated and ventilated seats, dual-zone climate, adaptive cruise, and real factory audio. Not leather alone — leather on a truck with crank windows is still a work truck.
Does a bigger screen automatically score higher?
Up to a point. Past 12 inches, clarity and integration matter more than raw size. A giant screen running clunky software doesn't make a cabin nicer.
Why do older trucks score lower on comfort?
Feature availability. Ventilated seats, adaptive cruise, and premium cabins didn't reach most trims until the late 2010s. The score reflects what the factory could actually install that year.
Is the comfort score just a luxury count?
No — it weighs cabin livability alongside tech. A truck can score well on comfort without a single wood-grain panel.
Does aftermarket audio or seating count?
Factory equipment only. Published scores are the truck as built; what you add later is your business, and your ears'.
